Frying pans have been around human hearths since ancient Mesopotamia. But you don’t have to live in far reaches to shop for frying pans like these Circulon frying pans. You can compare various products from the comfort of your home to find something ideally suited to your kitchen. Let’s take a closer look at Circulon’s offering.

Positive Features

circulon frying pans Historically speaking the average frying pan is 8-12” in diameter. Most flare outward and have no lid. They’ve been made in everything from tin and copper to iron, being fashioned with a flat bottom for even cooking.

By the way, frying pans were among the first kitchen tools to be electrified!

Based on the fundamentals, Circulon Frying Pans are a suitable size (8” and 10”) and are made out of heavy gauge hard-anodized aluminum, intended for durability and so the pan heats up quickly without “hot spots”.

The silicone comfort grip handle provides safety to the cook, as the pan won’t easily slip out of hand.

Considerations

At $80 for two pans, the price seems ok. It’s even more appealing when on sale for about $40 for the pair.

Nonetheless there are reports about these Circulon skillet that could give any consumer pause. It seems the coating on these isn’t as hearty as some of Circulon’s other products. Additionally the pan does not seem to sit as flat as it should, which undermines even heating.

As with other Circulon fry pans, the handle is quite heavy and without any food in the pan it tends to tip towards the handle.

As with many pans these are not dishwasher safe.

Consumer Reviews

Some seemed satisfied with the product, liking the nonstick surface and the medium weight. People have written complaints about the skillet accumulating residue and the bottom beginning to stick after only a few months of use.
