Most customers have felt the heat distribution is very even and efficient. Meat browns well in the frying pans, and by deglazing, you can make an incredible gravy in them. Food cooks quickly, even on lower heats. The lids are made heavy enough to stay on when boiling items in the pot.

Considerations

The Cuisinart stainless steel cookware set can be challenging for some people to use. You must learn to cook at lower temperatures, and watch your food while it cooks. You must heat the pan first, then add your oil and let it heat before adding food. Cold food tends to stick more than room temperature food.

The rivets holding the handles in place can become loose occasionally, allowing food to lodge between the rivet and the pan. They can discolor from cooking over high heat. Some customers complain about the heat conductivity. The lid handles can get too hot to touch without a hot pad.

This set seems to be of lesser quality than the Cuisinart Multiclad set. Many of the bonus items were not sent to customers when they purchased the set as advertised.
