Food fries evenly and thoroughly. The generous size is perfect for large families. The new Dual Zone technology creates a cool area just underneath the heating element. This helps prevent food from burning.

The thermostat is adjustable. You can easily set the temperature you want and the handy indicator light lets you know when the oil is ready. Clean up is easy thanks to removable parts. You can put the lid, fry basket and bowl in the dishwasher.

The stainless steel lid has a permanent mesh filter inside that prevents oil vapors from escaping to your kitchen. A built in viewing window lets you check on your food without fear of spattering.

Oil can be drained through the handy spigot on the bowl. The whole thing is made of stainless steel instead of aluminum.

Considerations

The DeLonghi Dual Zone Deep Fryer may leave you without numbers on the control knob after several uses. The paint doesn't seem able to hold up to the oil and heat.

One major design flaw is the plastic bracket that attaches the heating element to the metal frame.

Over time, the bracket weakens and cracks. Once it cannot hold the element, the unit is useless. If the company would replace it with a metal bracket, this issue would be solved.
