Emerilware by All-Clad

I received a set of Emerilware by All-Clad as a wedding present, and I have been very impressed. Emerilware is made by All-Clad, but is slightly less expensive than other All-Clad stainless steel cookware.
However, I actually like it better than the other All-Clad pans I have because of the very thick, triple layer bottoms. The thick bottoms mean much more even heating, and less scorching with my gas range.
One pan in the set that I really love is the 3-quart stock pot. It's just the right size for making pasta, or boiling potatoes, or even making smaller batches of tomato sauce or soup. I cook a lot with tomatoes, and the stainless steel holds up better to acidic foods than my old anodized aluminum pans.
The only thing I don't like about these pans are the handles, which are metal so they get hot when in use, and also are a bit thin for the weight of these very substantial pans. But overall, they are a pleasure to use, and are the favorite pans of the many I've collected over the years.
