Who makes Jamie Oliver Cookware?Jamie Oliver cookware is made by T-Fal, which is known for quality, middle-priced cookware. This Professional series cookware features both nonstick cookware and stainless steel cookware sets. T-Fal is known for its Metal-Safe Nonstick line of cookware and its new Pure Stainless line. T-Fal began in 1954 when a French engineer named Marc Gregoire came up with a method to adhere Teflon to aluminum. He patented his process and began selling nonstick cookware in 1955.
The company was named Tefal, which was changed to T-Fal only in the United States because DuPont, the inventor of Teflon, felt it was too close to the name of their patented coating. T-Fal was introduced to the US in 1960 and today is found in most department stores that sell cookware.
