Paula Deen Cookware Set

by Amanda
(Dallas, Texas)

I purchased the Paula Deen Cookware Set 4/11/2009 and started using the set in May 2009. I found the best price was at and paid just over $100 with shipping and handling.

The reason I purchased the set is that the lids fit well, are see through, the set is supposed to be warranted for life, easy care and the size pans provided meet most of my requirements.

It didn't take long for the cookware to show damage/wear. The big stock pot and the fry pan where warped at the bottom within 6 months so they rock on the flat top stove I have. All of the pans have some exterior paint coming off of the bottom and sides.

I am into easy maintenance so I do put it through the dishwasher, which I later read may also cause some damage. I am not happy with this purchase and will probably never buy another Paula Deen pan even though it is supposed to have a lifetime warranty.

As soon as I have the money to replace the pots and pans, I plan to send the whole set back with a note explaining what I experience and tell them not to bother sending me a replacement.
