T-Fal 15" Skillet Review (with the glass cover)

I had just moved into my first home last year and realized all the pans I had to cook with were 10 inches or smaller. I love cooking a nice big meal for my girlfriend, so I knew I needed something bigger right away.
I picked up the T-Fal at my local Target store (after checking around for the best price), and couldn’t wait to start using it right away. This thing is awesome, and it’s absolutely the best non-stick pan I’ve ever used. It's got this cool type of heat resistant rubber on the handles, which is a definite plus if you own a gas stove. There’s a smaller handle opposite of the big handle which makes moving it around much easier, especially if it’s full.
There was something on the package that mentioned the layers of different metals and how it helps with heat dissipation, but I’m not convinced. When I’m simmering anything there’s a distinct ring of bubbles that shows where all the head comes from. I’m not a huge fan of the lid’s propensity to leak (when it’s wet from steam and turned upside down momentarily) because I end up getting liquid all over the stove.
It’s a great large fry pan too, does a meal sized batch of grilled cheese at once. My favorite use for it is frying ground meat for my famous lasagna. After a good year of steady use (about 3 meals per week), the thing still looks brand new. I’ve purchased a few really cheap pots and pans while going to school, so I can tell if a pan is a piece of junk. The T-Fal is definitely not junk, and I’m sure it will still be making meals ten years from now. I’d probably be willing to purchase another pan like it in the future, or at least if it’s made by T-Fal.
