The Calphalon Non-Stick Everyday Pan

I had bought a Calphalon Nonstick Everyday Pan about a month ago because I had used my 10 year old cooks club non- stick pan to it's limit. The Calphalon was a little bigger than my cooks club by 1 inch. My 10-in. everyday Calphalon pan is all-purpose . It is also my favorite pan, because I like to use it for searing, browning and sauteing my veggies and meat dishes as well as making classic Spanish dishes, like paella. Yummy!
I like that there are two loop handles that make it easy to lift, and the heavy weighted, domed lid prevents moisture from leaving my food and it also circulates heat evenly. It's made from a multi-layer nonstick material that makes it effortlessly easy to clean. The Calphalon is oven safe up to 450 degrees. It fits wonderfully in my cabinets, no bulky handles. It's good at cooking sticky foods without worrying about a messy pan.
I am very pleased at all the ways this pan can be used, roasting, frying, boiling, broiling and so much more. The sky's the limit, and I should know I baked an apple upside down pan cake in it. (very sticky) The clean-up of this pan is a great feature. It's size is great for me and my family. I recommend this pan highly. The cost of this pan was nominal. Less than $40. So far I have no dislikes or complaints about the Calphalon Nonstick Everyday Pan it cooks everything that I can think of.
One might complain that it's not dishwasher safe, but I don't own one of those so I don't have any complaints about it. I would use for my catering gigs I do but out of fear someone would steal my pan I leave it home.
This pan cooks omlettes the best, I dog this pan out, cooking pork dishes and then testing to see if I can make an omlette without it sticking to the pan. Unlike many other so called non-stick pans once you cook pork everything sticks to the pan. Not this pan though, nothing and I mean nothing sticks so far. Well I've only had for a month, although I do use it everyday. I have faith that it's strong enogh to last. I pray it lasts longer than my trusty cooks club pan.
My favorite food to cook with it is chicken beriyani. It's one of my favorite Indian dishes. It cooks my chicken in 8 minutes flat. I sometimes use it as a stir fry wok. Like I said earlier the sky's the limit with this pan. I would definitely buy this pan again if something tragic should happen to the one I have now or if I abuse it to the point of no use, heck I would buy it for my friends as gifts.
Again this pan is easy to clean, cooks virtually everything, fits anywhere and is easy to use what more could you ask for. I hope my review shines sunlight on this pan.
