Tramontina 8-Piece Nonstick Cookware Set

by Dan
(Ohio)

I have had this cookware set since my first days of college. It is tough and excellent for cooking with! It is only an 8 piece set, but it comes with all the essentials you need for making pastas, breakfasts, fried foods, and many other dinners! It is made by Tramontina. I was impressed from day one with their product. This set was one of the cheaper sets and has well exceeded its price tag in versatility and use.

I think this set is one of the best priced sets out there for the quality it provides. It isn't stainless steel like some, but I honestly could care less about the stainless aspect of the cookware. I want something that can handle a variety of foods and hang in there for the long haul. The finish and color doesn’t matter.

The black color finish is actually more of a bluish color. It is not a jet black color. The 10 inch frying pan is my favorite to use for cooking. I like to make many chicken and pasta meals, and the frying pan has always worked best for me. Oven baked is nice, but this faster and allows me to make it more of a show. (Who wants to watch chicken and pasta cook in an oven?)

Overall, I think this set provides great bang for you buck. It is the essential sized you need for making any dish. It is highly durable. I would buy it again if I had to, but I'm certain that will not be happening for a while.
